• DYNAMIC CHANGE

Energy for change can come from the 'top-down', 'bottom-up', 'inside-out' and 'outside-in'. The resulting tension can be both creative and destructive. Coaching helps to manage the resentment, resignation and uncertainty that change can bring, as well as maximising its potential.

Skill Gyms

Skill Gyms cover a range of ontological coaching topics. They offer a quick, cost effective way of supporting managers and leaders in their personal learning, as well as stimulating their will and ability to to make change happen fast. We believe the knowing comes from doing - actively changing the process, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, harnessing emotions and modelling best practice.

The objective is to enable Skill Gym participants to understand and then practice how small changes in their attitude and behaviour can have a big impact on the attitude and behaviour of others. We also explore techniques that promote empathy, reasoning and engagement. In today's challenging work environment we help participants coach others to find the path of least resistance that enables them to create changes that stick and solutions that achieve more change from less effort.

Learning Labs

A Learning Lab is a group of people who come together to learn how they can combine their knowledge, skills and resources more effectively. It brings a microcosm of a whole service process or system into the room to find solutions that will deliver cost effective improvements in service for customers.

At the core of the approach is a different way of communicating, as the group learns and practices new skills to overcome barriers to change. Their conversations and activities are facilitated as required to enable them to create a shared vision, deal with new information in real time, challenge their assumptions, learn from their service users, listen and question more effectively and create a shared action plan that delivers mutual benefits. This benefit could be reduced costs, increased commitment to change, improvements in customer service, more efficient working arrangements, etc.
